So my name is Gene. I have a unique last name - it's Yraola.

I guess you can say this is my own self-glorifying page. Hey if I don't do it, who will? (Hopefully not stalkers.)

Life in a nutshell: Born and raised in NYC to later move to beautiful Southern California, only to return some years later to the urban jungle. My collegian education began at the Georgia Institute of Technology and would later end in a B.S. in Corporate Finance with a minor in Creative Writing from the University of Southern California. I have lived in nothing but major metropolises but always welcome the opportunity to settle in small, isolated havens.

I have a deep affliction for the geek culture, including but not limited to technology, videogames, comic books, animation, cosplay, Apple products, and Disney history. That's not to say I don't have other "normal" interests which include sports, (major USC and NY Knicks fan), fashion, dining, architecture, and animals. I'll honestly admit I won't run out of things to talk about.

For a career, I specialize in project managing media clients and brands and finding new ways to develop their audience, specifically in the online space. Over the years, I have built an extensive background in the television, music, and videogame industries, on both the creative and business sides. I have worked on some of the biggest brands and talent in the world including Jessica Simpson, Blink-182, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Missy Elliot, CITI, Elizabeth Arden, and Grand Theft Auto, to name a few. I have also helped to develop growing names in my time, ranging from bands as The Fray and Jet, to upstart media channels FUSE and G4. All in all, I'd say I'm pretty in tune with pop culture and the branded world we live in.

In 2008, I co-founded a top social marketplace community CHICTINI.com which has grown to be one of the largest domestic online marketplaces for independent fashion designers. I did so to help discover new talent in the world of fashion that otherwise would have remained obscure due to resources and geography.

However my biggest goal in life centers around my family. I want to take care of my family, start my own family, and help other families accomplish their dreams.

One last thing, I have a very unique memory. I will always remember even the most minute of details of people and their actions who are incredibly significant to me. I firmly believe its those details that help refine your own character. I truly hope by reading my brief past, you get somewhat a glimpse of the character I want to develop into.
